Agent Ransack performance difference between physical machine and virtual machine

Question

When evaluating Agent Ransack, I noticed a huge performance difference my benchmark on a physical machine and a virtual machine.

With fastest setup, I have 16 thread on the physical machine when I have max 2 threads on the VM.

Resources on VM are high, I was not except to have the same number of threads than on the physical machine but I hoped more than 2.

Is the pro license can give better performance on a VM ?

VM characteristics:
Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6342 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz
Installed RAM 36.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

If you go to the Configuration -> Threads / Priority Settings you'll see how many CPU cores are available to the program, this is the default number of threads:

You can increase the number of threads with the 'Custom' option but if the number of CPU Cores is low it probably won't increase the search speed.

Neither the Pro nor Lite versions treat VMs differently from regular machines.
