I am experiencing problems with index search - the list of items containing keywords is returned very fast, however, the "hits" tab is taking up to 20s to load hits, for 10mb file PDF file. Any advice?
When you view the contents of an index result the program goes back to the source document to retrieve the hits. If the source document is on a slow drive/network it can take a little while to retrieve the hits.
You can increase the speed of retrieval by switching on the Caching functionality: https://help.mythicsoft.com/filelocatorpro/v9/en/cache_settings.htm
