How can I search for the character * ?

I need to find files that have REF*D9. I know files have it but they are not being found. Thank you.

Put the search term in quotes, e.g.

Containing Text: "REF*D9"

Or change the expression type to Plain Text, which stops any 'special' processing of the search term.
