Opening folder from FileLocator to XYplorer (instead of Windows Explorer)

Since the thread is from some years, does the solution still the same?
Would there be an easier way (without changing register) for setting direct inside FileLocator to open XYplorer instead of Windows Explorer?

XYplorer is my default system file manager and other apps always open it as default when I double-click file path. However, FileLocator launches Windows Explorer, even with XYplorer as default.

The latest version of the product fixes an issue with launching the default explorer. Please re-try.
