I get no hits for windows.edb in c:\ but Everything finds it here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb

Since Everything's default operation is in Admin mode it can see files that are not available to the 'normal' user.
I was able to get a hit after closing AR and restarting it in Admin mode,
