How can one generally exclude certain file extensions, which start with ~$label.any extension
For example:
~$filename.xlsx or ~$filename.docx

The files should be excluded regardless of their file path.

Have entered into the exclusion filter ~$. but does not work

It's not possible (yet) to set up a Persistent Search Filter based on a file name so you'd need to use the File name field to exclude the file, e.g.

File name: *.docx;NOT:~$
