I work with a program called SAS Enterprise Guide. EG project files (suffix .egp) are stored in .zip format. How to I tell FLP that .egp files are actually zipped?

Yes, you can do it one of two ways.

  1. Tell FileLocator Pro to treat .egp files as a single compressed document in the Compressed Document Raw Data Reader Settings. When set each file within the .egp file is extracted and searched as if part of the same single document.

Adding EGP

  1. Tell FileLocator Pro to treat .egp files as multiple compressed files inside a zip in the ZIP Settings. Each file within the .egp file is extracted just as if the .egp file had a .zip extension. For more information on how to search ZIP files please see this question: Search for filenames within ZIP and RAR archive files
