I'd like to perform an 'AND' search. Does the software have this capability?
Which software are you talking about and are you referring to searching by file name or file content?
Yes, our software supports Boolean searching capabilities such as AND, OR, NOT on content searching.
FileLocator Pro also supports Boolean searching on the file name, whereas Agent Ransack is limited to DOS style expressions, e.g. *.txt;*.doc.

How long can Boolena expressions be?
File AND budget OR project NOT picture OR photo ???
The expression is limited only in terms of memory (ie it can be very long) but the longer the term the longer the search. If you are going to mix AND and OR I recommend that you use parenthesis to enforce priority, e.g. (File AND budget) OR (project NOT (picture OR photo))
