Such as searching for "y.m" to pick up files "y.m.c.a..mp3" and "y.m.c.a..m4a". What should the search expression be? "y.m" doesn't work. (I'm not entering the quotes though even if I do it still doesn't work.) Thanks.

The program assumes that if it sees a period then you've specified the extension, in your case '.m'. To show that you want to search beyond the end of the extension you use the wildcard character '*'.

OK. I did not know that. "y.m*" works fine. Thanks. BTW, I really appreciate this program.
