Boolean search highlighting wrong terms

When I search for:

(Zoo AND (monkey OR zebra OR lion)) OR (profit AND loss)

FileLocator Pro shows documents with profit AND loss highlighted but also Zoo highlighted without any occurrence of Monkey, Zebra, or Lion. What's going wrong?

That behaviour is by design. ALL search terms found in a document are highlighted whether or not they had a positive impact on the document being matched.

In your case the document match was successful because profit AND loss were found in the document but when FileLocator Pro produces highlighted results it takes into account all search terms in the expression including Zoo. This allows the user to see all search terms that might be of interest in the document.
