Is there a way to find duplicate filenames within mulitple directories?

I have a root directory with several subdirectories and I am in the process of moving all the files out into one directory but need to do some cleanup first. I am interested in running a search that would pick out file names that have multiple hits. I have the hit counter on but it always shows a 0 and I'm wondering if that's because the files are in different directories. I would like to ignore the different directories and just find the files.

Sorry if this was asked already but I couldn't find it previously.

Thanks for the help!

The hit count applies to content searches not file name searches. If you search by file name each file that matches will be shown, you could export the results to Excel to help spot duplicate file names. Alternatively you could use a dedicated duplicate file finder program, there's quite a few around.
